✅ Green Card Approved Through Marriage - January 17, 2025

Conditional Residency Granted

At Barrera Legal Group, we’re proud to share another client success—adjustment of status approved and conditional green card issued!

Our client entered the U.S. with a tourist visa in 2016 and recently married a U.S. citizen in July 2024. With our legal team’s guidance, he successfully obtained lawful permanent resident status through a family-based petition—without having to leave the country.

Because the marriage was under two years at the time of approval, the client was issued a conditional green card, valid for two years. In the future, he will be eligible to remove conditions and apply for a 10-year green card.

👩‍⚖️ Why This Matters:
Adjustment of status is possible for those who entered legally—even with a tourist visa—if married to a U.S. citizen.

Conditional green cards allow lawful residency while building a record of a bona fide marriage.

With proper legal support, no consular processing or waiver was needed.
