This is the first stage for the fiancée of a United States Citizen to apply for a green card. The next stage Will be to apply for the actual fiancée visa through the consulate in the beneficiary’s country of origin. Once the visa is approved, the beneficiary Will be able to enter the United States to marry the United States Citizen within 90 days.
