We are thrilled to announce another success story at Barrera Legal Group! USCIS has approved our client’s I-129F Fiancée Visa Petition, marking a significant milestone in their journey toward building a life together in the United States.
What Happens Next?
Now that the petition has been approved, the case will move to the National Visa Center (NVC) for further processing. Here's what you can expect:
Filing for the Fiancée Visa: The NVC will forward the approved petition to the U.S. Embassy or Consulate in the beneficiary's home country. The fiancée will then apply for the K-1 Visa, which allows her to travel to the United States.
Travel to the United States: Once the fiancée visa is issued, the beneficiary will be able to travel to the U.S., where the couple can finally reunite in person.
Marriage: After arriving in the United States, the couple must marry within 90 days to comply with the terms of the K-1 Visa.
Adjustment of Status Application: Following the marriage, Barrera Legal Group will assist with filing the adjustment of status application (Form I-485) to help the beneficiary obtain their green card and secure permanent residency.
