Aug 14, 2023, DACA Renewal Approval

Renewal of Deferred Action for Childhood Arrivals Application

It should be noted that presently the United States Citizenship and Immigration Service also known as USCIS is only approving DACA renewal applications filed within one year of expiration of DACA status. New DACA applications and renewal applications filed past one year after expiration will be treated like new applications and will be received by USCIS, but will not be processed until the present Federal Court litigation is resolved. Finally, USCIS is presently accepting and processing Advanced Parole travel authorizations based on DACA status which could benefit DACA beneficiaries seeking to apply for a green card based on marriage to a U.S. Citizen Spouse.
